Emulate Mary Who Raised Up Godly Preachers

Sunday 13th April

Text: Matthew 13:53-56
Key verse: James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. James 1:1
The Holy scriptures made us to understand that Mary gave birth to other children. According to today’s reading text, Jesus had four brothers and at least two sisters from Mary. This is to say, Mary had at least six children after Jesus. These children were born in sin like any other children. The coming of Jesus from Mary’s womb did not purify her womb from sin. All of these six children were sinners. They did not believe in Jesus Christ when He was in the world as a man. These children had a mother that should have made them serve God’s in holiness. Joseph might have died, leaving Mary with the children alone. It means six children were under her supervision. Her six children did not automatically give their lives to Christ. She must have worked on them. It is like being Pastor’s wife. It does not make you or your children to be holy. Mary, however, worked on her children and they became saved. So, work on your children by learning from Mary who became a disciple of her Son, Jesus Christ.
Mary brought her children to hear the bitter truth about hell. She wanted them to know that coming from the same womb with Jesus should not make them compare themselves with Him! God changed Mary’s six children and put His fear in them. James, a servant of God, was one of the sons of Mary. His eyes were opened to the truth of salvation in Christ Jesus. Jude was another son of Mary and also a brother to Jesus. Do we have mothers. Hannah vowed to raise up her son, Samuel in the fear of God. She dedicated her son to the Lord. Determine that you want to raise up your children to serve Jesus, and the LORD will help you. May the children that you raise up and teach, become great ministers of God in Jesus’ Name!
Thought of the day: May the Lord grant you the grace to raise up end time revivalists.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
