The Sons Of Belial In The Church

Thursday 1st May

Text:  1 Samuel 2:12-17
Key Verse:  Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial they knew not the LORD. 1 Samuel 2:12
Many youths of our day do not love the truth. Blindness has covered many of them. The devil has taken them to himself, but God wants to save them. God wants them to come to Him and be saved by His truth. God wishes that they are involved and engaged in His work. They have not yet died, rather, they are just beginning their lives on earth. May God who created them exercise His power over their lives. The power to draw them to Himself, and the power to open their eyes that they might see the righteous demand of God upon their lives. May Jesus save His children. Amen.
Eli was the high priest, the one ministering to the children of Israel on matters of God, taking their sacrifices to God. He was the one reading the law of God to the people, to keep the people in the fear of God and in the love of God. God appointed Eli to this work. It was a divine work. His children should naturally take over this work from him as a high priest after his death. The children served together with Eli. Eli was old, and his children were actively working in the temple, but they were evil and wicked sons of Belial. Belial stands for Satan. They were sons of Satan. They had a father; a physical father, but spiritually they were under Satan's control. Satan dictated their lives, and their lifestyle. They served Satan. They did not know the law. They did not know the righteous God and were not living in obedience to Him.
We find a similar situation in our churches today. There are children whose parents are pastors, elders, and workers in the church, but they do not know the law. They are wicked and evil children. When they are at home, they dress well because of their parents but when they go to school, you will see Jezebel in the school environment, dressing like harlots. Some look humble when they come home but away from their parents, they are like demons in character, and in dressing, yet children of ministers. They know not the law! Pray for the transformation power of God over your life, over the life of your child, that the perishing souls may be recovered from Satan.
Thought For The Day: Live as a child of God, not as a child of Satan.
Song For The Day: I have no power of my own (2x), I confess to you …

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
