Persuade Them To Righteous And Holy Living

Wednesday 23rd April

Text: Matthew 7: 21-23
Key verse: Not everyone that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7: 21
There is a difference between divine call to service and entering Heaven. Not all that serve the Lord will go to Heaven. If you know this truth, then take extra steps to see how you can perfect that brother or sister who is not doing well. To bring the brother or sister to perfection, requires wisdom and diligent persuasion. In the same way therefore, you must persuade your family members. The Bible says, “I beseech you dearly beloved.” I am pleading with you. Christ also is pleading with us. You have to persuade your family members. Persuade them, because tradition, deception and human pride have made man tough. It is by persuasion that some of them can be saved.
When Elisha told Naaman, "Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall come again and you will be clean.” Naaman was not happy about it and went away.  Naaman's servant went to him and persuaded him to obey, and the Bible said his body became clean like that of a child. The persuasion worked on him.
Talk to your family members, relations, neighbours, friends, church members, and fellow ministers. Persuade people from other religions to accept Jesus. Persuade ignorant ministers, that they may become Heaven bound preachers. That is what God demands from you Christians walking in truth, righteousness and holiness. "Be ye perfect even as your father who is in Heaven is perfect."
Thought For The Day:  Use persuasion to win men for Jesus
Song For The Day: Follow (2x), I will follow Jesus…

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
