Origin Of Hair Attachment

Tuesday 29th April

Text: Psalms 139: 15-16
Key Verse: Add thou not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liars. Proverbs 30:6
Hair attachment came after perming and Jerry curling. It seems to have its origin in a popular Rastafarian musician that often wore dreadlocks; hair that is twisted into long thick pieces that hung down from the head. The disciples of this Rastafarian musician sought to conform their hair to that of their hero. To achieve their desires, additional strands of hair were required to be added to their natural hair to make it thick, form locks and hung down, when twisted. Those among the males with natural deformed hair, who were disciples, naturally fitted in. Eventually it was younger rascals among ladies that held to this hair style.
As at now hair attachment is a general practice among the women. The use of hair attachment comes naturally as a solution to those whose hair has been destroyed by perming and Jerry curling. Those who used them do not bother about where they came from, what substances they are made of and how they are manufactured. Hair attachment is also designed to suit other races with curled and flowing hair. The attachment causes their hair to spread around them and flow down to their back.  At its introduction, it was the exclusive use of wayward women and Rastafarian disciples, but as its use increased, gradually Christian women were seduced into it.
The resistance of the church over it was weak. Now, the Christian Church has practically nothing to say against it. Women ministers, wives and children of prominent Christian Church leaders use all kinds of hair attachment. However, few churches still contend against its use, and deny those who use it access into Christian service and leadership position in the church. They condemn the use of hair attachment, terming it ungodly adornment and worldliness. The Bible position is clear in this respect. A study of the Bible reveals hair attachment as an evil practice that damns souls of their users to everlasting hell fire.
Thought For The Day: Hair attachment is not in God's record of human body.
Song For The Day: I will serve God from everlasting to everlasting.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
