Cooperate With God To keep His House Clean and Holy

Friday 13th June

Text: 2 Timothy 2: 19-22
Key verse: Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 2:3
You are commanded to add personal and church discipline to your ministry. The other leaders too who work with the minister should not exempt themselves from this act but cooperate with the minister to keep the brethren from sin and evil and keep the church from being contaminated. Do you not see people committing sin in the church, doing evil, bringing death and damnation to the church? God opened your eyes to see as Phinehas; to see that man bringing the woman to the camp for immorality and you said nothing about it. Your Christianity is gone; your name is out of the Book Of Life. You are no more a Christian in the sight of God. The zeal of the church of God is not in your life.
You do not have godly jealousy over the house of God. That is why you saw a sinner, one of the leaders, committing adultery; he even came to you as a woman requesting for sex; talking to you, caressing you for immorality and you did not cry out against him. You did not carry the matter forward to say that a corrupter is among the leaders of the church. You kept quiet and said nothing. You are gone! Do you think God is playing in the church? Jesus is crying every day because of sinners; because of the rebellious nature of people. Man is very rebellious. They eat from His hands and abuse Him. He gives them grace and they abuse the grace. You who say you love Jesus came across these stubborn people, these secret sinners and spared them saying, “I do not want them to blame me.” You are blamed by God!
Your Christian life has no record. You are not a dignified child of God. You do not have the zeal of your Father in your life, otherwise you would have revealed the sinner. Whether the sinner is your husband, or wife, or child, or friend, you would have revealed him or her. This is because all eyes are on Jesus, not protecting man but the name of Jesus. We do not defend man but Jesus. If you will defend man at all or do any service to man at all, then it is for Jesus’ sake. If you love man, it is for Jesus’ sake. Why then do you protect a man against Jesus?
Thought For The Day: Let us work together to ensure that we keep the church clean.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
