IN HIS PRESENCE

This post is for my Christian brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers. God bless you for reading. One silent afternoon while chatting with some friends in your room, someone knocks on your door. On opening it, you see this handsome gentleman who smiles at you.”How may I help you please?”You ask. He then delivers his message; the queen of England wants to see you. A fleet of cars are out there waiting. The clothes you are supposed to wear are given to you. Quickly, you rush in to get prepared to meet the Queen. After getting dressed, you check, check, and re check to ensure you look presentable. Even after, you call your friends to check if you look good enough to meet the Queen. After you think you are satisfied with the way you look, you step out to go and sit in the luxurious car to meet the Queen. On arriving in at your destination, you try to be as courteous as possible trying very hard not to offend the Queen with your actions. Each step you take precedes care and so much courtesy as if your very life depends on it. Even when asked to sit, your gestures seem to say you are the successor to the throne. It is done carefully. The Queen comes in, and you lift your head shyly, beaming with smiles. You are going through some challenges but you forget about all that just because of this lady who is flesh and blood just like you. She engages you in a hearty conversation. Even when you feel bored, you smile at her continuously as if you are all ears. After 20 minutes, the chef comes in to say lunch is ready. The Queen beckons you to walk by her side. You feel so proud to walk by one of the powerful women in the world. At the table, you act like you’ve just had a lesson on table manners. Your manners are at the highest peak. After, you excuse yourself to visit the washroom. In there, you check yourself to ensure that you still look good enough in the presence of the Queen. After lunch, you both walk to the balcony and have wonderful time chatting. While chatting, a loved one calls you but quickly, you cut the call so it will not interfere with the lovely moment you are having. You promise the Queen you will be available anytime she demands your presence. You feel so good on your way back home that you whisper to yourself “I can’t wait to be here again!” Let’s now compare this scenario to the Christian and his/her relationship with the Lord. You wake up to the sound of beeps coming from your alarm – it’s Sunday. Got to prepare for church. How excited are you that you will soon be in the house of the Lord? How eager are you to be in the presence of the King of kings? How often do you meet in fellowship with other brethren in Christ in preparation to meet the Maker of all things? You arrive safely and once again I ask you – how desperate are you to hear from the Lord? During the time of praise and worship do flashes of problems and challenges you are going through enter your mind’s eye destructing you from what is going on? Do you sit and play with your phone, receiving calls and text messages, fidgeting with your I - pad when it’s time to hear the word? Is your attention swayed away from your Savior by friends who engage you in a chat? How focused are you? Do you loiter about while service is going on? After leaving the presence of the Lord do you still check and double check if you are still on fire for the Lord? Are you able to say “I can’t wait to be in the presence of the Lord again”? Oh if we are ever ready to give such reverence to human beings like ourselves, how much more the Creator of all things, including the Queen? Please carefully read the following lines and you will think twice on how to conduct yourself in the presence of the Almighty God; “I am a flower quickly fading Here today and gone tomorrow A wave tossed in the ocean A vapor in the wind” “For by grace we have been saved; not works, lest any man should boast”. (Ephesians 2:8-9) In the presence of the Lord “there should be fullness of joy”. Never go to church because you want to meet friends and chat your heart out. Never go to church because you want to show off your new hair style or new dress. Never go to church because you want your pastor see that you are around. Anytime you go to church, put yourself in the frequency of the Holy Ghost. Let Him know that you are ready to receive from Him. Let’s strive for a time when we can say “In Your presence, I am content In Your presence there is life Expression of Your love The revelation of Your power and might In Your presence I can bring my love song offering I’m in the presence of my King”. Once again, God bless you for reading.

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
