PRIORITIES OF LIFE SATURDAY APRIL 8 TEXT: ECCLESIASTES 12: 13 - 14 Key Verse: “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” Romans 14:12 The things that are more important than the air, food, water, education, health, deliverance from the hands of the devil, wealth etc in your life are to be discussed here. Things in life, that are most important, some people will get to know this in their dying moments, when it is already too late. The God that created man, created him with a vacuum that cannot be filled by anyone except God Himself. Man is in search of satisfaction. He goes here and there in search of daily living. Despite how wealthy, educated a man is, man is still not completed as an entity, there is emptiness, no satisfaction, no pleasure, no fulfillment and no arrival. A student might say let me finish school so I can come back home to sleep and rest, you will soon find sleep becomes useless. Some wish to have supernatural power to be able to kill, destroy and commit all sorts of evils but yet, soon you will find you are not complete. Religion will not fill that vacuum in your life. Therefore the three most top priorities in the life of man are as follows: That you may know Him, the only true God and Jesus whom He has sent; Heaven and eternal life. Matthew 6: 25 – 30 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? TOPIC: A SIMPLE PRAYER SCHEDULE (Part two)      DECEMBER Sunday 16th TEXT: 1 Timothy 2: 1-6 KEY VERSE: Peter therefore was kept in prisons but prayer was made without ceasing of the Church to God for him. Acts 12: 5 7. Pray for Your Relations. You want them to know Jesus. You want them to go to heaven. You want them to be protected. Pray that the Lord will bless them. 8. Pray for Your Education, Profession, Business and Work Place. Pray that God will be with you and help you always. Cast your cares upon Him. Ask Him to open the door of success and achievement. Ask Him to keep you righteous and holy every day. 9. Pray for Your Christian Leaders. Pray for your pastors for grace to do this work. Pray for the Church members. Pray for other Churches that they will live the holy life. 10.  Pray for Your Secular Leaders. After accepting the Lord Jesus as my Lord and personal Saviour as a young girl I so much enjoyed the Lord, but at a particular time in my life I entangled myself with so many sins: fornication, abortions, misconduct in two of my undergraduate examination papers, falsification of age, falsification of results in my undergraduate research project and other sins that later required restitution. This created a big vacuum in my life. I no longer enjoyed the presence of God as before and sometimes when I prayed for restoration and revival, I would hear a voice clearly in my spirit saying, “Go and report yourself.” This I did not
